Liberty Aviation Museum’s 1928 Ford Tri - Motor 5 - AT - B, serial No. Hawthorne Aviation is a sponsor for the Ford Tri Motor and the Summer at the Air Museum programs. The visit is part of the summer activities sponsored by the local EAA Chapter 291 and the air museum. Plenty of parking will be available in the Hawthorne parking lot. Visitors will see the aircraft next to the main building of Hawthorne. Liberty will be based at Hawthorne Aviation Services at the airfield on May 12 – 15 for rides. The aircraft is part of Experimental Aviation Association’s summer tour based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin the EAA World Headquarters.
